Who we are
Dekoda Arts Ltd ("Dekoda Arts", "we") is an audio and visual company, registered in England and Wales, company no. 16067830. Registered office: 61 St. Thomas Street, Weymouth, Dorset, DT4 8EQ. This website
dekoda-arts.com has no forms, accounts, cookies, analytics or advertising trackers. Our host (Netlify) keeps standard server logs, including your IP address, for security and reliability. The fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address when the page loads. If you email us, we use your email and message only to reply.
Our music services
We run services for our artists and releases, including free-download pages and automatic Instagram replies for the artist Konflicted Soul (dl.konflictedsoul.com). When you use them we may process:
- the email address you enter, and whether you agreed to receive updates and free downloads;
- which download you unlocked, when you downloaded it, and whether you tapped the follow buttons;
- if you comment a keyword on or message our Instagram account, the comment or message, your Instagram username and user ID, and whether you follow the account. We use this only to send you the download, and delete it after 30 days (activity logs after 90 days).

Why we use it (legal basis)
- To give you what you asked for, such as a download or a reply: performing that request.
- To send release news and free downloads by email, only if you ticked the box: your consent. You can withdraw it at any time using the unsubscribe link or by emailing us.
- To keep our services secure and working: our legitimate interests.
Sharing
We never sell your data. We use service providers that process it for us: website and server hosting (Netlify and our own server in the EU/UK), email, and Instagram/Meta and SoundCloud when you interact with those platforms. We only share data where the law requires it.
How long we keep it
Instagram conversation data: 30 days. Email signups: until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them. Emails you send us: as long as needed to deal with them.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you can ask to see, correct, delete, restrict or move your data, and object to how we use it. Email contact@dekoda-arts.com and we'll respond within one month. To delete data from our Instagram replies, see data deletion. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
